Things to do in London

For this week’s post I wanted to give some ideas of things to do in London, however I don’t entirely think this would receive the same response. We want to wish everyone safety in these tough times and hope if you’re feeling unwell you’re on the mend and staying at home. So much uncertainty can cause anxieties, but we just want you to know you are not alone.
This weekend however, I was lucky enough, or perhaps stupid enough, to visit London. I was worried the trip would be cancelled as we planned it a while ago but things don’t seem so bad here yet. I can’t say the same for another trip I had planned to Dublin for the end of the month, which really breaks my heart.
Looking past the chaos, we attended a friend’s show at The Vaults festival, a location I’d never heard of underneath Waterloo Station. So much is going on here for the next few weeks, supposedly, but even to just go for a drink or a bite to each would be an experience. I would love to go again, and I really enjoyed the show!
We also we visited the Andy Warhol exhibition which opened earlier last week. I’ve been a fan of Warhol’s work for a long time, as has everyone, but I don’t recall ever seeing any of his work. It was truly fascinating and I do recommend you go visit it at the Tate Modern once everything clears up. It was so informative and something anyone would enjoy.
Moving away from art, we went to the British Museum on our final day. I’ve never been
before but always wanted to, and I was not disappointed. Everything is divided by continent and I honestly learned so much in the short space of time I was there, I can’t wait to visit again and see more.
I love visiting London, as I mentioned before in my last “follow me to” post, and I will continue to be excited every time I go. Obviously at the moment, I have no plans to return to London, but I wanted to share my trip so when things calm down, you have ideas of where to visit.
