Welcome to our blog! We are both third year students studying Fashion Promotion and Communication and have created our own PR agency 'Baker and Butler Events'. We are so excited to take on the challenge of organising the 2020 Graduate Fashion Show for Solent University, our first client. Millie Baker

I originally live in Norfolk but moved down to Southampton to join Solent University. I see myself as a creative and artistic person and so far have particularly enjoyed the graphic design side of our planning. For my future career, I am yet to decide which specific job role I would like to partake in but am hoping something will catch my eye in the near future. I have loved fashion for a very large portion of my life and have had my heart set on working within the industry since I was 10! After I graduate, I intend on going travelling before seriously looking into finding a job that best suits me and to perhaps gain further experience through more internships.

Amelia Butler

I have been living in Southampton my whole life and for my future career, I would love to work in Public Relations and have a job linking to Events Management and Organisation. I love working with new people and am so excited to be a part of the Graduate Fashion Show this year! After I graduate, I intend to travel South East Asia and Europe, before moving to London in 2021 to begin my career in the fashion industry. I also hope to gain more experience at London Fashion Week, as well as those in other cities.
